Traditional classroom training in an industrial setting can be extremely inefficient and costly. These costs include such items as overtime for employees, travel, equipment,external resources and trainers.
Our competency training package eliminates all of these costs, easily justifying moving to web-based training.
Since every student learns at a different pace, the Contendo learning model allows students to take as much time as they need to become certified. It also allows advanced students graduate faster. This can greatly reduce overtime costs while giving management valuable information on staff learning potential and progress.
Testing and Reporting
We’ve come up with the perfect way to assess student learning accurately.
First, students are presented with pop quizzes that appear arbitrarily within each learning module. These will pop up during the module to quickly test whether the student has grasped important points within each component.
At the end of each component, students are required to complete a quiz. In the event that they feel unprepared, they have the option to replay the component.
Finally, students must pass a unit test to achieve their certification to work within certain parts of the facility.
On the management side, all quiz and testing information is stored and readily available to generate reports in real-time. This is an effective tool for training staff to evaluate both students and the system itself.
