Drake Water Technologies’ flagship process, IonFlo, was originally developed and demonstrated for Coal Bed Methane (CBM) / Coal Seam Gas (CSG) produced water treatment. IonFlo is a novel technology designed to solve a unique and difficult water challenge – partial clean up of large amounts of slightly contaminated water. The patented IonFlo technology continuously uses ion exchange resin to “dial in” the removal of salts from wastewater. IonFlo is mobile and portable, modular and scaleable, has a small environmental footprint, and produces a saleable by-product from CBM treatment, making it the most affordable CBM water treatment available. The Drake Team is also developing patent pending SolFlo, a technology to economically treat high TDS / frac return flow produced waters. Drake Water Technologies offers engineered solutions through development of disruptive technologies to meet the needs of the water energy nexus.
