IKA process technologies range from laboratory bench top to commercial scale, batch & inline continuous processing machines sized for flow rates well over 500 gpm. Our products also include batching vacuum, homogenizer kettles.
IKA’s ULTRA TURRAX, DISPAX REACTOR, and MK COLLOID MILLS produce fine particle or droplet sizes. Various generator (rotor-stator) configurations are available in single to multi-stage machines to achieve the required shear rates to homogenize your product. IKA also supplies Vacuum Kettle Systems (the IKA MASTER PLANT) consisting of jacketed vacuum and /or pressure rated vessels with a bottom mounted Homogenizer (IKA DBI 2000) that can induct powder or liquids, homogenize, emulsify, or react.
IKA manufactures two product lines for rapid incorporation of powders/solids into liquids – the MHD 2000 and the CMS 2000. The MHD is designed with a feed auger, which conveys and mechanically feeds solids into a liquid pre-mix chamber where solids are thoroughly wetted and blended in the mixing section. The technology can be operated very precisely in a continuous or batch mode. The CMS works on a venturi principle. The unit can be operated in a batch or continuous mode. The CMS has a higher pumping rate of liquids which causes an intense suction of powder at the inlet. Powder can be suctioned from a bag or feed hopper.
